Axiom Space has set the live mission coverage schedule for Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), the company’s fourth commercial astronaut mission to the International Space 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
The Ax-4 crew will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space 91³Ô¹ÏÍø from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 11 at 8:00 a.m. ET. The crew will dock to the space station on June 12 at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET. Once docked, the Ax-4 astronauts will spend about 14 days aboard the space station conducting microgravity research, technology demonstrations, and outreach events.
The Ax-4 crewmembers are Commander Peggy Whitson of the U.S., Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla of India, Mission Specialist SÅ‚awosz UznaÅ„ski-WiÅ›niewski of Poland, and Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu of Hungary. Ax-4 will be the first time astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary conduct a mission on board the International Space 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. For each of these countries, this mission will realize the return to human spaceflight, as they launch national astronauts for the first time in more than 40 years.
